Aishwarya (Aishu) Niraula is an artist who transforms the intricacies of mental health into vibrant, thought-provoking works of art. Working from her “Creative Cave,” Aishu uses mixed media to bring life to themes of anxiety, healing, and introspection. Her work often features zentangle-inspired patterns, layered textures, and bold colors, capturing the ebb and flow of emotions that many experience but cannot articulate. With a focus on the hidden battles of the mind, her art serves as a visual narrative of resilience and self-discovery.
My art is an exploration of the mind’s uncharted territories—a canvas for chaos, healing, and everything in between. Through vibrant colors and intricate patterns, I aim to unlock and express the emotions that often remain unseen. Creating is not just a process for me; it’s a therapeutic act that mirrors my journey with anxiety and mental healing. Each piece is an invitation for viewers to confront their own thoughts, find solace, and see beauty in complexity. By translating invisible struggles into visual forms, I hope to inspire connection and understanding.

I've always had a creative spirit, but during college, I stopped drawing. For years, I felt disconnected, convinced I had lost my creativity entirely. Yet, something always felt missing. In 2022, art found its way back into my life, and everything I had bottled up for six years finally poured out onto the canvas. Since then, from 2022 to 2024, I’ve been completely immersed in my creative journey, producing around 200 paintings that capture this transformative period.
